MCP (Model Context Protocol)

An open standard created by Anthropic (November 2024) that connects AI tools to external data sources and services through a universal interface. Built on JSON-RPC 2.0. Adopted by OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Apple, Cursor, Replit, and thousands of tools. Donated to the AAIF in December 2025. Complete guide
